Nights in the Valley of the Butterflies

The nocturnal hike through the valley of butterflies in Brandenberg is a unique experience. Visitors experience rare protected butterflies and moths in their natural habitat on the guided tour with an expert.

The wild and romantic Brandenberg valley with its extensive woods is home to unique fauna and flora. Around 800 different butterfly and moth species have been recorded here.

Visitors who want to experience an adventure on safe trails can use specially-trained nature experience guides to penetrate the hidden treasures of the forests.

On 18.07, 25.07 and 01.08 guided tours are being offered with the theme “At night in the valley of butterflies”. The exciting nature tours will be held by Benjamin Wiesmair, the leading butterfly expert at the Tyrolean State Museums.

The meeting point is at 20.00 in the Kaiserhaus car park. The easy hike lasts until 23.00 and sturdy shoes and a torch are recommended.
