The Tiroler Oberland region is celebrating the coming of autumn with a number of farmer’s markets in the west of Tyrol.

Three-country market

Pfunds will be transformed into a centre of diversity on 28 September.

With over 50 market stalls, the popular three-country market presents products from farmers and traders from the border triangle from 10.00 in the morning. Sausage and cheese specialities, fine brandies, decorative and handicraft goods are all part of the wide range. Visitors can stroll, taste and shop in a relaxed atmosphere until 17.00 with live music and activities for the children.

All about the apples

The popular apple festival will be celebrated on 29 September at the music pavilion in Prutz. An exciting children’s programme with a bouncy castle, painting, handicrafts and Haflinger rides awaits the youngest guests.

Regional craft and farmer’s market

The medieval rooms of Sigmundsried Castle open their doors to the Ried Autumn Market on 06 October.

From 14.00 to 19.00 local farmers present their high-quality products along with traditional handicrafts, wine and schnapps. The annual highlight is bread baking with Fisser Imperial Barley in the surroundings of the castle garden. The country market is accompanied by Tyrolean folk music.
