Countless well-marked hiking and walking trails, via ferratas and exciting gorge experiences can be found around the Styrian capital Graz.

One popular excursion destination for locals and guests alike is the 1,445-metre-high Schöckl, with its steep slopes and extensive plateau. Many people from Graz hike it several times a week, conquer it by mountain bike or take the cable car in St. Radegund to get a little distance from everyday life.

On hot summer days, a hike through the Kesselfall gorge with its impressive waterfalls is particularly worthwhile. The romantic gorge can easily be hiked through in half an hour on well-secured trails.
