An excursion on one of the historic boat tours around Lake Constance is a particularly enjoyable way to enjoy the water.
One of the highlights at the lake is to take a trip on the steamship DS Hohentwiel or the motor ship MS Oesterreich. Both ships were built in the early 20th century and are back in service after extensive restoration, the MS Oesterreich only since spring 2019.

Guests either sit under the sun awning on the deck or in one of the stylish salons. They enjoy a variety of activities as the sailing boats and the towns on the Lake Constance shore slip past.
The Hohentwiel offers the “Captain’s Dinner”, the “Jazz Brunch”, the “English Afternoon Tea” and other themed cruises on certain dates, while the MS Oesterreich offers culinary delights – from the “Viennese Breakfast Salon” to the “Sundowner Cruise” at sunset. Art exhibitions and cultural events complete the programme of the MS Oesterreich.
