Wildenstein Waterfall

The Wildenstein waterfall in Carinthia is one of the highest free-falling waterfalls in Europe, with a drop of 54 metres.

Near the Klopeiner See in southern Carinthia, this special natural spectacle is worth a visit. The Wildenstein stream flows out of a towering rock face and plunges 54 metres vertically into the valley.

The hike to the platform at the foot of the Wildenstein waterfall takes about 20 minutes. Visitors have the best view of the water cascading downhill from this spot and may also enjoy being refreshed by the water mist.

Visitors looking for a thrill might try the Flying Fox Park with 11 Flying Fox slides at the Wildenstein waterfall.
